Let, the purchase price is x
So, ( 171 - x) /x × 100% = x%
( 17100 - 100x) /x = x
17100 - 100x = x2
x2 + 100x - 17100 = 0
x = - 190, 90
So, x value is 90
The purchase price was 90 Tk.
